Ohio Supreme Court
Justices
On October 21, 2009, Paulding County
was
honored to host the Off-Site Court Program for the Supreme Court of Ohio. A
formal luncheon was held at the Kiwanis Community Center.

Young Children: Priority One
Resolution: Whereas Young
Children: Priority One is the ongoing service program of Kiwanis
International, addressing the needs of children prenatal through age five,
and whereas all clubs are urged to carry out at least two projects each year
-- one addressing a local children's need and one supporting the Worldwide
Service Project to eliminate iodine deficiency disorders; therefore be it
resolved that Kiwanis Club of Paulding County adopts Young Children:
Priority One for service year 2005-2006. Adopted 10/28/04

Paulding Library Partners with Kiwanis to Donate Books
The
Paulding County (OH) Carnegie Library and the Kiwanis Club of Paulding
County have partnered to provide a "Head Start Through Reading", a
collection of classic children's picture books donated to Paulding County
Head Start. The mission of Kiwanis includes Young Children: Priority One and
literacy development for preschoolers is vital to that overall mission.
Pictured here with the Cat in the Hat are library director and Kiwanian
Susan Pieper, as well as staff and families of Paulding County's Head Start
program.
Kiwanians enjoy a
catered lunch at noon on Thursdays at the Kiwanis Community Center. The
Kiwanis program immediately follows the luncheon.
