Paulding County, Ohio proved to be a fertile field for not only crops, but for citizens who went on to impact our world.

The library will be publishing web sites focusing on individuals who at one time called Paulding County "home" and who made a difference in American and International culture, politics, military campaigns,  technology and the arts.

Lived, practiced law and is buried in Paulding, Ohio.

Dr. John Henry Neeley, Horticulturist

Passionate about the development of flora and fauna of Paulding. Nationwide influence in his field of interest.

Roland David Smith, American Artist
(1906-1965)

Influential painter and sculptor. Graduate of Paulding High School, Class of 1924.

Foy David Kohler, Ambassador to U.S.S.R.
(1908-1990)

Served during the Cold War under President Kennedy. Born in Oakwood, Ohio.
